The Ottakringer Brewery opened up to the city and was revitalized both inside and out. In autumn 2012, 175 years were celebrated at the new site. For the anniversary, the entire façade of the Ottakringer Brewery's event area was renovated according to a new color concept. The new fresh appearance is the most striking step, but not the only one. The outdated Hopfenboden was fitted with a new bar, new windows and new flooring. The Hefeboden event area was fitted with a DJ and VIP gallery made of expanded metal, and the restrooms were made entirely of stainless steel to suit the event. The Goldfassl Magazin with its spacious terraces was created from a former office space that was no longer used.
