Four townhouses were built near the Stadpark in Hamburg's distric Winterhude. The residential building units are grouped in an L-shape around a private courtyard. This spacious communal area was designed as a garden. The result is a spatial structure that combines inner-city living qualities with the desire for privacy. The vertically organised townhouses are accessed via the inner courtyard and offer space for innovative and urban living. The individually designed floor plans offer both open spaces on the ground floor and private zones on the upper floors. Terraces are located in front of the generously glazed west façade in the living area. Screens and plantings provide the necessary privacy.
