Throughout the conversion and restructuring of the historical building ensemble of the former Pumpwerk at the Falkensteiner Ufer in Hamburg Blankenese, Giorgio Gullotta Architekten converted and designed the former machine hall into a living space. The building, which is located at the Elbe River, gets its charme especially from its generosity and brightness. ·The open interior floor plan allows a view over the three levels. Visible  roof structures as well as concrete walls and ceilings maintain the desired loft character.
